Past reflections help shape the sapatilha infantil prata glitter future, but extant literature on politics, space, and politics of space (PoS) does not adequately blend these concepts for a comprehensive and futuristic appreciation.This paper presents a narrative synthesis of existing knowledge to connect, unveil and comprehensively overview politics, ppace and PoS.Using a qualitative exploratory approach, the study data from eighty-nine secondary sources guided by six topical search themes.
With over 85% of the secondary sources spanning from 2000 to 2022, the review suggests that politics and space are diverse and multidisciplinary concepts, while space and political philosophies, as well as human systems, cocreate PoS.The analysis indicates that PoS is context-responsive, yet no clear definition exists.Reflections on the PoS are qualitative, and there is a general lack of the application simply boho classroom of mixed methods in its investigation.
Remarkably, themes like inequality, control, discrimination, suppression, exclusion and words of similar meanings are characteristics of PoS research.Human-constructed systems like cultural, market, management and governance structures drive the themes.Hence, within the complexities of politics and space, humans and systems construct and reconstruct the PoS as social and political actors envision.
The multi-varied nature of politics and space should lead to the application of mixed methods in future studies on PoS.Also, PoS could benefit from a cross-continent perspective using the different social contexts and systems to help gather holistic knowledge towards conceptualisation.
